Homes and Habitat Along Darby Creek: Sabbatical Project 2016 - 2017
Benefiting the Penn Wood Foundation and Students in the William Penn School District
The work on view was made during my 2016-17 sabbatical. I painted a body of artwork to model a portion of the AP exam in which students explore a theme in depth culminating in 12 pieces of artwork. I focused on habitat in and around Darby Creek, which flows through towns in the William Penn School District. To read more about my process and see the book I made documenting the project, click .
This work was on view in the Administration Building of the William Penn School District in 2017. I donated all proceeds of sold paintings during the exhibition to the , a non-profit organization benefitting the students of the William Penn School District.
